Located in Hood River, Oregon, Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum (WAAAM) is a relatively new museum, but we house one of the largest collections of flying antique aircraft and drivable antique automobiles in the country.

We opened our doors to the public for the first time on September 7th, 2007.

Step back in time with us, and re-live the golden age of transportation.

Our collections are housed in two giant hangars - which together total 95,000 square feet. In addition to our antique collections, these facilities house a reference library, classroom, meeting rooms, and a community events area.

Three additional hangars, totaling 37,000 square feet, are set aside for restorations.

The items on display at this museum are not only full of history... they're full of LIFE!

Aircraft, automobiles, motorcycles, tractors, military jeeps and engines all get their day in the sun again at WAAAM .

The Museum offers numerous events throughout the year, including Second Saturday, where we get the engines running. Please join us! Ride in antique cars, watch the antique planes take off and land, eat ... drink ... be merry!

The Museum is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
