1936 Ford Hotrod Pickup
One of a kind all steel 1936 Ford.
Hundreds of hours spent building this custom truck from the ground up, and the final results were well worth the build.
With lots of thought put into it creating a show truck with unique features that can be driven daily.
An original all steel '36 Ford pickup body, that was modified extensively for just the right look.
4" front chop,
3.5" rear chop,
Cab and doors lengthened 6", be shortened 10", and wheel based lengthened.
Also features a dump truck bed, which functions flawlessly.
Sits on an original modified 1936 Ford frame, featuring a Pete & Jakes 4-bar front-end with a 4" dropped 9" in the rear.
Buick 12" finned aluminum brakes up front and Ford 10.5" steel drums in the rear.
The truck was finished in a beautiful shade of gun metal grey,
15" painted steel wheels (15X5 up front & 15X7 on the rear) with chrome beauty rings and dog dish hubcaps.
This hotrod pickup has the perfect stance and sits just right, you cannot and will not find a bad angle.
Open the drivers door and you will find a beautiful nu-red alante vinyl interior with black piping, including headliner.
Other features include red German square-weave carpeting,
Original painted dash with a full set of gauges,
1940 steering column,
Mooneyes steering wheel,
Vintage turn signal,
Porcelain skull shift knob and under dash toggle switch to control the dump truck bed.
Powering this hotrod pickup is a completely rebuilt 283ci motor, which was bored out to 317ci, Thumper hydraulic camshaft, 327ci small journal crankshaft (increase stroke to 3.25"), Offenhauser triple Rodchester 2V carburetors, Pertronix Ignitor II electronic ignition, Patriot Lake Style Header Exhaust, and a 11" clutch linked to a Muncie M20 4-Speed transmission, which feeds power to a Ford 9" rear end with 3.50 gears.
The new owner will receive a binder and pile of receipts and invoices for the work performed.
