1979 MGB Convertible
RELIABLE DAILY DRIVER, DEQ EXEMPT SP TAG
This car is sound and reliable with lots of upgrades.
It has a new battery, radiator with twin electric fan cooling, competition roll bars, Weber 2-port down draft carburetor and knock off wire wheels.
A slighty tatty but easily refreshed hard top is included as well as a Tonneau cover.
The odometer reads 73,156 miles.
The mechanics are very good.
The engine is strong, quiet and smooth with great oil pressure and compression.
Original paint is fair to good with a clear coat over original.
There is a small repaired dent on front left fender.
Otherwise the body is good.
Any repairs needed on the interior are cosmetic; an ancient cassette tape deck is still in place!
The rest is very good condition.
Car was a weekend driver to a senior couple who used it for beach and back road day trips as well as touring.
It is an excellent daily driver for a fix-it-yourself MG enthusiast.
